Scientists recently discovered a rare, solitary type of bee that makes tiny nests by plastering together flower petals. Each nest is a multicolored, textured little cocoon — a papier-mache husk surrounding a single egg, protecting it while it develops into an adult. NPR,bebelestrange

This picture instantly made me think back to 1st grade when my teacher cut an apple in half, plunged it into a glob of paint, stamped it on a piece of construction paper(to this day still my favorite kind of paper) and blew my mind with that simple circle and star. Nature is such a wondrous thing!
I wanted so badly to run to my kitchen and have a little arts and crafts time and post my creation along with this pic, but I couldn't rationalize wasting a perfectly good piece of fruit. Having an adult mind stinks sometimes.
Everything except the duvet cover. Black is NEVER a good choice for bedding and duvet covers are pretty much ridiculous in my opinion...the comforter always ends up all crammed into a bottom corner and then your just left with a sheet...pointless. That's why I always allow my down-alternative to go commando! Plus all that fluffy white makes me feel like I'm sleeping in a fancy hotel bed on vaycay:)
